New Zealand can manufacturer Recorp has appointed a new CEO – Bruce Parton, as the company is set to open its “state-of-the-art” facility in South Auckland in September.
Parton most recently served as CEO of House of Travel. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with Air New Zealand, initially as GM of Short Haul Airlines under Rob Fyfe, and later as COO under Christopher Luxon.
He also held roles in the food processing industry at Coca-cola in the UK and Tegal Foods.
Fyfe, now chairman of Recorp, said he knows what Parton can bring to the table, having worked with him in the past. “He has hit the ground running since he took up the role last month,” added Fyfe.
“Our team of New Zealand investors, experienced can makers and innovators are ready to challenge the status quo by offering customers of all sizes flexible, innovative new can options, low minimum order quantities and accelerated new product development timelines,” Parton said upon his appointment.
In addition to Parton, Recorp’s leadership team consists of Australasian beverage container specialists, including GM Steve Lacey and plant manager Grant Nicholson.
